Established in 1827, Lindenwood is an influential four-year
liberal arts institution devoted to excellence in higher education. Nestled
amid the wonderful linden trees, our historic 500-acre campus is located in the
center of St. Charles, Mo., a developing community of more than 65,000 just
west of St. Louis.
More than 200 degree programs is offered by this institution
to more than 16,000 students through values-centered programs that create a
straight direction to development of the whole person. The faculty, staff, and
administration of our intuition are committed to an integrative liberal arts
curriculum that targets on the talents, interests and future of our students. Lindenwood
is certified by the HLC (Higher Learning Commission).

Lindenwood University's
sequence-based Business programs (inclusive of our daytime BA and evening MBA
Plus curriculum) are authorized by the Accreditation Council for Business
Schools and Programs authorization. ACBSP is a specially designed authorization
association for business education aiding, honoring, and gratifying teaching
fineness. “The association grasps the merits of teaching fineness and considers
that scholarly research and inquiry actions facilitate enhanced teaching.” This
specialized authorization is in addition to our present authorization with
Higher Learning Commission.
The Authorization
Council for Business Schools and Programs also authorize Lindenwood
University's accelerated cluster-based Business programs in the School of
Accelerated Degree curriculum. The business programs are head highlighted in
the Lindenwood University Cultural Center, couple blocks north of the main
Lindenwood University campus in St. Charles, Mo., and offer classes
at expansion centers around the St. Louis Metropolitan area, from
Belleville, Ill., to Wentzville, Mo. The business curriculum and Lindenwood’s
Robert W. Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship merge to make the
second largest MBA degree program in Missouri and Kansas.
Lindenwood University School of Education is honored of its
long history of authorization and was with the prime group of institutions
authorized by the premier accreditation agency for education experts, Council
for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). To become the Council for
the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the Teacher Education
Accreditation Council (TEAC) and the National Council for the Accreditation of
Teacher Education (NCATE) has been recently merged. We are devoted to regularly
bettering to maintain the highest quality programs for educator establishment.
