Adler University is a non-profit making institution of higher education and private graduate school of health and social sciences. It is located in Chicago, Illinois and Vancouver. Adler University educates students to engage the world and create a more than just a society. Adler University is named after Alfred Adler (1870-1937). Alfred Adler, the founder of Alderian Psychology is a psychotherapist as well as a physician. He was the one who used public education as a way to address community health. One of the advocate and follower of Adler was the founder of Adler University Rudolf Dreikurs who immigrated to Chicago after Adler’s death.
It was officially established in 1952, the time when Dreikurs founded this institute of Adlerian Psychology and it undergoes the series of name change. In 1954 it was officially named as Alfred Adler Institute of Chicago while in 1991 became the Adler School of Professional Psychology. The current Adler University was named officially in January 2015 so that it can reflect the growth and broadening pedagogical functions beyond psychology. Adler University conducts two campuses; In addition to the main campus in Chicago, it also maintains a campus in Vancouver which enrolls 1200 students. It offers three doctoral degrees

·         Doctor of couple and Family Therapy(D.C.F.T.)
·         Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision
